Hi, I’m Marlee Logan, founder of Loganalogy.

I’ve been researching family history since 1992, when I first set out to learn more about my father’s background. What started as a personal search quickly turned into something much bigger. Over the years, that curiosity grew into a deep passion for uncovering stories, solving puzzles, and helping others understand where they come from.

Today, I work with individuals and families to turn scattered clues into clear, well-documented family histories. Whether you’re just getting started or stuck on a difficult line, I’m here to help you move forward with confidence.

How I Work

Genealogy is more than just searching names in a database. It’s about building a case using real evidence.

I start with original records whenever possible, including vital records, land deeds, probate files, military records, and church registers
I verify information across multiple sources to make sure it holds up
I look at the bigger picture, including historical context, migration patterns, and community connections
I use research networks, archives, and lesser-known resources that go beyond typical online searches

Every project is approached carefully, because in genealogy, the smallest detail can change everything.

Work Beyond Loganalogy

In addition to my client work, I serve as a genealogist and content contributor for Clan Logan Society International, an international organization dedicated to preserving Logan history and heritage.

Through this work, I help members explore Logan family connections, contribute to genealogy projects, and create educational content for researchers around the world. It keeps me actively involved in ongoing research, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving across multiple family lines and locations.
