ESVA Connections- "While the majority of the people named in this database resided either in Accomack and Northampton counties on Virginia's Eastern Shore or Ulster and Orange counties in the Hudson Valley of Upstate New York, the expanded content has led to places well beyond the shores of the Chesapeake Bay and the Hudson Valley."

GHOTES (Genealogy & Historie Of The Eastern Shore)- "GHOTES is a group of folks who share an interest in the GENEALOGY AND HISTORY OF THE EASTERN SHORE of Virginia. A few goats slip over the fence into MD occasionally, and that's okay with us. Their ancestors did it first."

Mary Frances Carey’s Genealogy Reports- Genealogy of various names in the Eastern Shore.

Mears Collection- A large group of genealogical files derived mostly from professional and amateur genealogists from Virginia’s Accomack and Northampton Counties who contributed copies of their works to this library for use by the general public and for permanent archival. The user of these files should treat them as clues in his or her own research, not fact.

MilesFiles- "MilesFiles contains hundreds of Eastern Shore families from the counties of Accomack and Northampton, Virginia; Somerset, Worcester and Wicomico, Maryland; and Sussex Co, Delaware. MilesFiles traces living persons to European royalty including Charlemagne, Gateway Ancestors, First Families of Virginia, Eastern Shore Progenitors and Daughters of the American Revolution Patriots."

Ireland Resources

County Cork
**Civil Records:** Ireland began maintaining civil registration records in 1864 for births, marriages, and deaths, and in 1845 for non-Catholic marriages. You can find these records online through the Irish Genealogy website. https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/
**Cathedral Records:** These can be quite valuable as they typically include baptism, marriage, and burial records. For instance, St. Fin Barre's Cathedral is a great resource! https://www.corkcathedral.com/
**Parish Records:** Cork is divided into three Catholic Dioceses—
Cork & Ross, Cloyne, and parts of Kerry can make locating records challenging. Since civil registration only started in 1864, parish registers may be crucial for tracing your ancestors before that year.
Additionally, the Cork City and County Archives and the Cork City Library offer a wealth of genealogical resources. They contain local newspapers, historical maps, and unique family records that could assist you in piecing together your family's narrative! You can search the online catalog here https://bit.ly/3B6Ucjn
